A trip to Atherton HQ in Australia for Christmas in 2019 ended up as a more long term move thanks to COVID. Unable to return to EU due to travel restrictions, my wife and I played nomads (staying with family and friends) for 8 months until our home became available (rented to Canadian academics on sabbatical who were somewhat stranded too). There have been no work opportunities in EdTech so it’s time out for now.
